 BVG started offering "Manufacturing Lines Relocation Services"
When manufacturing started it was outside city limits. As cities expanded with population’s growth, these manufacturing units found themselves at the heart of the city. Being within the city limits, costs increased and so did value of the property. Today, many corporations are relocating their manufacturing units from ‘within’ city limits to elsewhere, not just to save costs but also to unleash the property value. And this physical shifting is emerging as non-core for them.
Enter BVG’s relocation services…
After having discussed and analyzed the needs of the customers, BVG has developed plans and logistics for offering services to shift assembly lines, welding lines and robotic lines to different locations.
We view this as an emerging area, which will not only help increase our turnover but also provide an impetus to growth.
Recently, we have completed shifting of FIAT plant from
Kurla (Mumbai) to Ranjangaon (Pune) successfully in record
time of 22 weeks. This job involved dismantling, loading,
transportation, erection & commissioning of Body shop,
Assembly line, Suspension shop etc. along with utilities
like Chiller, Transformer, Compressor etc. We have
transported more than 800 truck / trailer loads of material.
We have expert team available with BVG who have erected
INDICA Car Plant, SUMO / SAFARI plant of Tata Motors. |
