National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) is a scheme of the Government of India to promote apprenticeship. Apprenticeship Training consists of Basic Training and On-the-Job Training/Practical Training at the workplace in the industry. It is mandated by law that any establishment having more than 30 employees, should engage 2.5 to 15% apprentices of their total manpower, under the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 as part of the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 (amended in 2014) BVG India Limited is India’s one of the Largest Integrated Services Company with over 70,000 employees serving across the country. BVG India Ltd is authorized ESTABLISHMENT & TPA under NAPS to serve the industrial sector & apprentice as well. Under NAPS, Industries can save monthly around Rs 2000-3500 on PF, ESI, Bonus, Leave with Wages & Gratuity to such Apprentices as they do not come under Labor Law. Industries can engage apprentices for a period of 6-12 months depending upon the qualification of candidates. Also, these apprentices cannot join any worker union. This way, attrition rate, and recruitment costs can be reduced.
