National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) National Apprenticeship Promotion Scheme (NAPS) is a scheme of the Government of India to promote apprenticeship. Apprenticeship Training consists of Basic Training and On-the-Job Training/Practical Training at the workplace in the industry. It is mandated by law that any establishment having more than 30 employees, should engage 2.5 to 15% apprentices of their total manpower, under the Apprenticeship Rules, 1992 as part of the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 (amended in 2014) BVG India Limited is India’s one of the Largest Integrated Services Company with over 70,000 employees serving across the country. BVG India Ltd is authorized ESTABLISHMENT & TPA under NAPS to serve the industrial sector & apprentice as well. Under NAPS, Industries can save monthly around Rs 2000-3500 on PF, ESI, Bonus, Leave with Wages & Gratuity to such Apprentices as they do not come under Labor Law. Industries can engage apprentices for a period of 6-12 months depending upon the qualification of candidates. Also, these apprentices cannot join any worker union. This way, attrition rate, and recruitment costs can be reduced.

The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) The National Apprenticeship Training Scheme (NATS) in India is a one-year program equipping technically qualified youth with the practical knowledge and skills required in their field of work. The Apprentices are imparted training by the organizations at their place of work. Trained Managers with well-developed training modules ensure that Apprentices learn the job quickly and competently. During the period of apprenticeship, the apprentices are paid a stipend amount, 50% of which is reimbursable to the employer from the Government of India. At the end of the training period, the apprentices are issued a Certificate of Proficiency by the Government of India which can be registered at all employment exchanges across India as valid employment experience. The apprentices are placed for training at Central, State, and Private organizations which have excellent training facilities. Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) The Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) is a significant skill development program launched by the Government of India. Aimed at empowering rural youth and reducing unemployment in rural areas, the scheme provides vocational training and employment opportunities to economically disadvantaged youths. DDU-GKY focuses on equipping participants with industry-relevant skills, making them better equipped to enter the job market or pursue self-employment ventures. By bridging the skills gap and encouraging entrepreneurship, the scheme plays a crucial role in transforming the lives of rural youth and contributing to the overall socio-economic development of rural communities. BVG India is the Project Implementing Agency (PIA) of DDU-GKY. BVG has a presence in 6 states including Maharashtra, Odisha, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Rajasthan, and Uttar Pradesh.

Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana- National Urban Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NULM) DAY-NULM is a flagship program launched by the Government of India in September 2013. The mission is part of the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs and aims to reduce poverty and vulnerability in urban areas by providing sustainable livelihood opportunities to the urban poor. The mission emphasizes providing skill training to the urban poor, especially vulnerable groups like women, differently-abled individuals, and those from marginalized communities. The goal is to enhance their employability and help them secure gainful employment or engage in self-employment ventures Employment through Skill Training and Placement component of NULM aims to provide skill training to urban poor youth in various sectors, aligning with the demands of the job market. BVG India is the Project Implementing Agency (PIA) of DAY-NULM. BVG has 2 training centers in Madhya Pradesh including Jabalpur and Shahdol.
